Mr. Levy is the owner of a CPA and Consulting Firm since 1990. He has held faculty positions at City College of San Francisco, Laney College and San Francisco State University and is regularly appointed by the Superior Courts of California as an expert in forensic accounting and litigation matters. Board Vice President - Paul Hunt, J.D.

Board Member - John Deck
Mr. Deck was a Learning Products Manager at Hewlett Packard; he was formerly a fundraiser for Santa Cruz County Art Museum. He has been on the SMB Board for 18 years.

Board Member - Joan Kloehn
Joan is Co-Founder of Senior Medi-Benefits and a longtime Director. Joan graduated with a BS degree and has worked for 12 years in food and nutrition research, both here and in Europe. Other non-profits she has worked with are Amnesty International, American Friends Committee on Legislation, and the Marin Literacy Project.

Board Member - Arleen Goodwin
Arleen, Co-Founder of Senior Medi-Benefits and an ongoing Director, is an acknowledged state expert in benefits and advocacy programs for the elderly. Arleen graduated with a BA degree and a California teaching credential where she taught school in San Francisco. She has 25 years experience managing Senior Medi-Benefits.

Honorary Director - Art Van Rhyn, Our Illustrator
Art's illustrations have been used over and over by Senior Medi-Benefits, making them timeless. The Medi-Cal story never changes. Art contributed the illustrations for our Managing Medi-Cal Eligibility binder used as a reference and for training purposes for nursing homes and social workers.
