Patricia L. Adell owns and manages Real Estate Solutions Group, a consulting firm that advises public and private sector clients on the development of mixed use complexes, hotel convention centers, waterfront development, downtowns and sports facilities. She assists clients to structure public/private development partnerships where costs, risks, responsibilities, control and economic returns are shared by the public and private entities.

She has had over 20 years of real estate experience in market and financial feasibility, developing real estate and economic development strategies, and structuring financing.

A partial list of clients includes the City of Philadelphia School District, Pennsylvania Station Redevelopment Corporation, The City of Philadelphia, The New York Empire State Development Corporation and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Ms. Adell was previously the Regional Director of the Public/Private Development Practice of Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal. She was responsible for marketing and managing the public/private real estate consulting practice and provided real estate development consulting services to public entities and private clients including developers, corporations, institutions and government entities on all types of real estate from mixed use commercial development to more special use projects including convention centers, sports facilities, historic reuse, and universities.

Prior to joining E&Y, Ms. Adell was Vice President, Real Estate Consulting Services at Legg Mason Real Estate Services where she was responsible for marketing and managing real estate consulting services.

Ms. Adell served as Director of Program Development for the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), where she managed a citywide commercial development program negotiating public/private partnerships for the financing and development of residential, hotel, office and museum projects. She also served as Director of Technical Assistance for the National Council for Urban Economic Development (CUED), where she coordinated economic development consulting services for cities and designed training programs for economic development professionals.

Ms. Adell has a B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University, and a Master's Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois in Chicago. She is a member of the International Economic Development Council; founding member, past President and Board member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Philadelphia, member of the Coalition of Commercial Real Estate Associations, Board Member of the New Jersey Invention Factory and a past National Delegate of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women.

Ms. Adell has published articles and books on economic development organizations and project financing, and has given presentations and seminars for the American Planning Association, International Downtown Development Association, Columbia University, Temple University, National Council for Urban Economic Development, NNCREW and other professional organizations. She was also an instructor for Ernst and Young to train staff professionals in public / private real estate development.
